I have lost the keys is it a problem

Not a problem! - We will need your permission to gain entry. Our drivers are well trained and equipped to deal with this kind of problem.

Mr car has stood for a long time and may not move

No problem! We have probably removed a lot worse. Sometimes these kind of collections will take a little longer. We have never failed to lift a vehicle yet!

[TOP]

Does my vehicle need to be complete

We have no problem with you removing small parts like wing mirrors etc. Please tell us the full extent of the vehicle at the time of booking. This will enable us to make a decision and allocate the correct vehicle for collection.

[TOP]

When should I notify the DVLA

As soon as we remove your vehicle - If you do not have a logbook with a covering letter we suggest you print two copies of our disposal form and send one to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BD.

[TOP]

Can I claim back my unused car tax

Yes, you can visit the DVLA website and download a V14 document.

[TOP]

Do you remove car shells

Based on our free service this is not possible. However we can sometimes dispose of vehicle shells for a minimal fee dependent on location.

[TOP]

What do I need to do before and after collection

You need to clear all personal contents from your vehicle and remove any tax disc that you might wish to claim back. You must then complete section 9 on your logbook (V5 Document) and send it to the DVLA. Failure to notify them could result in a fine. If you do not have the V5 then you must notify them in writing (Always recorded post). Our driver will help you with the form.

[TOP]

Do you collect on weekends

Yes, we appreciate that you might be working during the week so we also pickup late in the evenings during the week aswell.

[TOP]

What areas of the UK do you cover

We cover it all free of charge.

[TOP]

Do you scrap larger vehicles

Yes, we take vans and lorries aswell as cars.

[TOP]

Do you donate cars to charity

Unfotunately we had to stop doing this because of fraudulent individuals. Be very careful of adverts that ask for cars for charity or fire brigade use unless you are 100% sure of the vehicles destiny.

[TOP]

Can I buy a car from you

No, we do not sell cars.

[TOP]

Do you sell vehicle spare parts

No, every vehicle processed by us is scrapped.

[TOP]

Do you issue a (COD) Certificate of destruction

Yes, this is your receipt that confirms your vehicle will be scrapped in a lawful and environmentally sound manner. We issue them on request once the vehicle has been de-registered.

[TOP]

Why should I choose you

We offer a friendly and above all free service and guarantee no nasty suprises weeks down the line. We also collect at the time the vehicle is booked in. Infact we take calls every day from the public who have previously been let down by other companies. We are naturally top of google and this has taken time and effort. While other companies come and go over night we remain.

[TOP]

What should I expect when I call or email

We take your booking and then send your data to our local driver who will then call you to arrange a convenient time to collect your vehicle free of charge.

[TOP]

When are your phone lines open

9am til 6pm - Monday to Saturday

[TOP]

How long before you can collect

This all depends on how busy we are, towards the end of the month gets really hectic but normally within 48 hours and on many occasions same day. The best advice is to book early.

[TOP]

Do I have to be present on collection

No, we can make arrangements for you to leave the keys and documents somewhere. We appreciate that sometimes your vehicle may not be in the same location as you.

[TOP]

Are you licenced

Yes, we are licenced by the environmental agency as both a broker and carrier of vehicle waste. You can check our company 'EuroGlobe' by calling 08708 506 506. Always check a company licence - Certain parts of vehicles are hazardous and we have all seen fly tippers on TV. Tyres are the main part of vehicles found dumped and it costs local authorities vast amounts of tax payers money every year to clean up.

[TOP]

Will you buy my car

We never pay for scrap vehicles and strongly advise against it. Most companies that pay a cash price probably have no intention of scrapping your vehicle and it could end up back on the road without change of ownership and amounting parking tickets in your name or worse still become a death trap while sold on for profit.

[TOP]

Do I need a logbook

We can scrap your car without the logbook V5 document. However it is important that you notify the DVLA with a covering letter that you have scrapped your vehicle. You might also want to print an extra copy of our vehicle surrender form and post that to DVLA, Swansea SA99 1BD.

[TOP]

I want to keep my number plate

When your application has been approved by the DVLA, you will receive a V778 Retention Document. Don’t sell or scrap your vehicle till you receive this document!
